Grueling mountain climbs, humid jungle trails, exhilarating mountain bike descents, rafting down cascading jungle clad rivers and long arduous sea kayak sections is what you will find in the three days of the inaugural Sabah Adventure Challenge. The course both dramatic and beautifully scenic in its changing landscapes, will have teams racing only during day light hours allowing teams to rest overnight at specially arranged camp sites.

Sabah Adventure Challenge 2001
Following the success of it's inaugural event, the Sabah Adventure Challenge 2001 will prove to be bigger, better and more challenging. It is sure to test participating teams to their limit during racing in daylight hours, whilst allowing teams the opportunity to have time to recuperate at the end of each of each day's journey at designated camp sites in local kampungs (villages). With its emphasis on the environment, the race ensures the opportunity for all participants to experience and appreciate the diverse natural beauty of tropical Sabah.

Trans Borneo Action Challenge
The event will run across the sea, up to the mountain, in the tropical jungle and through rivers. Teams can compete as a two-man, three-man, or a four man team. As in all things in life, they have a choice and a decision to make which they will have to live with. At any given discipline, only two team members can compete. At each discipline, there will be prize winners at the podium. The disciplines are: Sea-Kayaking, Mountain-biking Cycling, Off-road driving and Native sports.
